The results of 2020 Russia’s Best Employer rating exercise have been issued by HeadHunter a major Russian on-line recruitment company.
The rating involved evaluation of employer companies by three indicators: efficiency of HR service, internal evaluation (by employees) and external evaluation (by applicants). The final score comprised total points of all three indicators and determined participant’s place in the rating. Out of a total of 957 companies applied, slightly more than 500 made it into the finals. As a result, Sakhalin Energy, participating for the first time in such a large-scale event, held since 2010 among the companies in the industry of energy and raw material production, became one of top-five, only behind such major corporations as Rosatom, Sibur and Gazprom Neft.
“This significant result to be one of top-five among major corporations and is the common victory of our team. Not only Sakhalin Energy provides an opportunity to its employees to gain experience in working with modern and sometimes unique equipment at various production assets, but it also provides conditions for professional and career growth and offers to the employees a strong benefits package. The company implements new prospective projects, creating additional jobs and new opportunities for those interested in their own development. We comply with our growth strategy, where people are the foundation of our business”, commented on the rating Roman Dashkov, Chief Executive Officer of Sakhalin Energy.
According to the CEO, the 2020 COVID-19 pandemic forced the company to take certain constraints due to the need to comply with sanitary and epidemiological regulations. Nevertheless, in the year of serious challenges for many businesses of oil and gas sector, Sakhalin Energy managed to deliver on all objectives, which first of all is the merit of the personnel of Sakhalin-2 project operator.
