Effective corporate volunteering is one of the forms of the corporate responsibility policy implementation. A possibility of contributing to social problems solving creates positive attitude to Sakhalin Energy, makes the employees be proud of themselves and their company. The Company includes corporate volunteering into its social policy: actively engages the personnel into charitable programme and supports the employees’ volunteering initiatives.
Participating in volunteering events takes the Company's employees to new environment, enriches its personal experience, and stimulates creative thinking and non-standard solutions. An example of such practice is the programme “Hurry up for Good Deeds”, aimed to support charitable initiatives of the Company’s employees that was launched in 2003.
