Sakhalin Energy LLC (the Company, Sakhalin Energy) adheres to a national policy aimed at strengthening technological independence, maintaining the achieved level of Russian сontent with a focus on building long-term and mutually beneficial cooperation with Russian enterprises, sustaining established relationships, provided that partners implement high-quality standards and continuous improvement of services offered.
Sakhalin Energy is executing a Vendor Development Programme (materials, equipment, and services), whose primary objective is to facilitate the growth of Russian enterprises and enhance their participation share in the Sakhalin-2 project. The programme includes two components: integrated vendor development and training workshops.
The integrated vendor development is aimed at assisting promising Russian enterprises in upgrading production processes to meet the requirements of Sakhalin Energy, and high quality and safety standards. This area includes the following activities:
• Organising working meetings and roundtables with Sakhalin Energy technical specialists to present opportunities, suppliers' proposals, and exchange information
• Evaluating Russian enterprises for compliance with the company's requirements.
Training workshops are part of the Vendor Development Programme. The purpose of the workshops is to familiarise Russian manufacturers and suppliers with the requirements of Sakhalin Energy, as well as to provide extensive information on a number of upcoming tenders. The programme of each workshop includes an overview of the Sakhalin-2 project and training sessions.
Training workshops are conducted upon request and subject to sufficient participant numbers. Participation in the workshop requires submission of a free-format application to the following email address: SELLC-VDR@sakhalin2.ru. The application shall contain the participant's full name and position, email address, and contact telephone number.
Should sufficient participant numbers be reached, Sakhalin Energy will determine the training workshop date and notify all declared participants via the email address provided in the application.
Sakhalin Energy's activities aimed at developing Russian vendors and establishing expert competence centres form and strengthen a reliable Russian resource base. This satisfies both current and future operational needs of the Sakhalin-2 project for materials, equipment, and services, while ensuring the Company's sustainable development framework and supporting federal priorities for advancing Russia's technological sovereignty.
