- Microbiological tests using the molecular method of counting bacteria and archaea (qPCR). |
| Requirements to bidders |
1. Availability of laboratory, qualified personnel, equipment, materials for tests as well as collection/library/database of bacteria types typical for the oil and gas industry. 2. The studies to be carried out shall include: · Microbiological methods of separation and cultivation of aerobic and anaerobic bacteria and archaea. · Conducting microbiological tests using the molecular method of counting bacteria and archaea – quantitative PCR* (qPCR), including 16s DNA Metagenomic test. · Methods for studying morphology, analysis of 16s DNA genes, etc., necessary for identifying and describing prokaryotes. Using the same set of primers for qPCR as for 16s DNA Metagenomic. · Assessment of the rate of sulphate reduction, nitrate reduction, methane producing and oxidation in produced and process water samples. · Microbiological studies of formation water, sediments, and deposits, determination of the structure and composition of microbial biofilms. · Assessment of biodiversity and efficiency of microorganism control at oil and water production, treatment and transportation facilities. · Determination of the activity and efficiency of chemical compounds (biocides) against bacteria. |
