Scope of work

− Development of method statements and other documentation (instructions, technical specifications) at the Company’s request for the performance of WORK relating to the repair, adjustment and diagnosis of lifting equipment (hereinafter ‘LE’).

− Routine maintenance of LE in accordance with maintenance programmes.

− Routine inspection of LE technical condition in accordance with maintenance regulations.  Issue of an inspection report in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements, including a list of defects, a list of spare parts recommended for replacement, and recommendations for maintenance and repair.

− Diagnosis, maintenance and emergency repairs of LE during turnaround, including inspection of horizontal anchor lines on the crane runways of double-girder electric bridge-type cranes.

− Repair of LE in accordance with defect lists, following a schedule agreed with the Company.

− Commissioning after repair and upgrade of LE. Technical support (development) of design and detailed documentation for the repair and upgrade of LE.

− On-site technical support at the Facility, where corrective maintenance and repair measures are required, as agreed with the Company.

− Remote advisory support (where required) for preventative and corrective maintenance measures.

− Reading data from parameter recorders, servicing, commissioning and/or calibrating (including reporting) safety devices in accordance with manufacturers’ recommendations and the requirements of Russian legislation.

− Operational measurements and testing of electrical equipment and earthing devices:  verification of the compliance of electrical installations with regulatory and design documentation; checks on the presence of electrical circuits between earthed installations and components of earthed installations; insulation resistance tests on wires, cables and windings of electrical machines; testing of load break switches.    

− Periodic maintenance of overhead rail tracks. Schedule inspections (at least once a year) involving a Company specialist responsible for carrying out operational monitoring during LE operation.

− Comprehensive inspection of rail tracks in accordance with the legislation of Russia (at least once every three years). Comprehensive inspection reporting.

− Repair of crane tracks and track equipment. The list of repair works shall be determined by the actual necessity established during inspections, scheduled checks and comprehensive inspections of rail tracks, and shall be agreed with the Company.

− Provision of technical data, field reports, and lists of materials and tools (fittings) required for the operation, maintenance and repair of the LE.

− Calibration of dynamometers:  annual inspection of the equipment, followed by issue of a calibration certificate to be valid for 1 (one) calendar year. The equipment shall be sent to the Contractor’s location and back at the Company’s expense, subject to an ORDER agreed and signed by both parties. Calibration work shall be carried out by the Contractor or a Subcontractor.  Upon completion of the calibration, the CONTRACTOR shall provide a full report, including valid calibration certificates for the dynamometers.

Requirements to bidders

- An extract from the register of Self-Regulatory Organisation (hereinafter ‘SRO’) under the Town Planning Code of the Russian Federation.

- Proven experience in the diagnosis, maintenance and repair of fixed bridge-type lifting equipment, including indicators, safety devices and parameter recorders, as well as the repair of crane tracks and comprehensive inspection of repaired tracks.

- At least 4 engineering and technical staff and 6 service engineers specialising in lifting equipment.

- An electrical testing laboratory (with a valid electrical testing laboratory certificate).

- The bidder or the bidder’s subcontractor must hold accreditation within the national system (FSA), as well as experience in obtaining certificates for calibrated dynamometers and their registration with ARSHIN.

- Submit a completed Questionnaire on Occupational Health and Safety (OHS).  Annex 1 to the Pre-qualification Questionnaire.
