This year, the 15th anniversary of the contest organised by the Centre for Development of Fuel and Energy Complex Communications is being celebrated, bringing together top professionals and leaders from all fields within the fuel and energy industry
Winners were announced during the award ceremony in Moscow, which took place with the support from the Ministry of Energy and the Russian Public Relations Association. In the year of the 30th anniversary of the Sakhalin-2 project, all initiatives presented by the Company were highly recognised by the industry communications competition.
“We launched our contest with the aim of connecting and uniting fuel and energy enterprises, providing a platform for sharing knowledge that fosters advancement and development. For all these years, the operator of the Sakhalin-2 project has been the undisputed leader of the KonTEKst. Commitment to ESG principles, openness and creativity have formed a unique corporate information policy that serves as an example for replication. It is safe to say that Sakhalin Energy is a locomotive of the most advanced and modern ideas and technologies,” said Irina Yesipova, General Director of the Centre for Development of Fuel and Energy Complex Communications and chairperson of the contest organising committee.
In the Internal Communications Development Projects nomination, the first prize was awarded to the Generation of the Future initiative, which aims to develop internal and external human resources potential. To this end, the Company carries out comprehensive work in the area of early career guidance and co-operation with specialised educational institutions, attracting future industry professionals and developing their competencies.
Another project that ranked first among the awardees is the Link of Times. Time of the Firsts calendar, dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Sakhalin-2 project. The jury members noted a non-standard creative approach in developing a calendar, which reflected the connection of the project with the region in which it is being implemented. The calendar’s visual track combines the production theme into a single composition with the unique nature of Sakhalin, historical events and cultural and sociological features of the island region.
Among the charity projects, the First Forum of Women of the North”received the second-degree diploma. Considering that comprehensive development of the northern regions is impossible without the participation of women, Sakhalin Energy became a partner of the forum, which emerged into a communication platform for discussing the leadership potential of women in the northern regions, their participation in developing industries and important initiatives for the country and indigenous territories.
Another second-degree diploma was awarded to the We Remember! We Are Proud! initiative, under which the Company approved an annual calendar of patriotic events involving employees and their family members. It unites the Days of Military Glory and public holidays of the Russian Federation.
